KAH Workshop Highlight
Banking Basics and Understanding Your Credit
At Kent Attainable Housing, we believe strong foundations are built when community members have access to the knowledge and resources they need to thrive. That commitment was on full display during our recent Financial Literacy Workshops, where neighbors came together to learn and invest in their financial futures.
From our Banking Basics Workshop to our Understanding Your Credit session, participants gained practical tools to navigate everyday financial decisions with confidence. Attendees explored how to choose a checking account that fits their needs, better understand their financial priorities, and build familiarity with key banking terms. They also learned how credit works, what impacts credit scores, and strategies for strengthening and repairing credit over time.
More than just workshops, these gatherings created space for questions and conversation and helped empower individuals and families to take meaningful steps toward financial stability, homeownership, and long-term security.
We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and look forward to continuing this work and supporting our neighbors every step of the way.
