Get one-on-one mentoring as you prepare to purchase a home:

  • Individualized plan for financial health

  • Assessing and cleaning up credit

  • Preparing to qualify for a mortgage

  • Meeting with a mortgage broker

Help Purchasing a Home

KAH Subsidized Home Purchase

Applicants may be eligible for a subsidized home purchase through KAH. These homes, which have been built or renovated by KAH, are offered at a subsidized price, subject to KAH’s terms and restrictions.

Open Market Home Purchase

Some applicants may choose to search for a home on the open market. We are here to help you make sense of the home-buying process.

Ongoing Support

Buying a home is just the beginning. KAH provides guidance and information to help first-time homeowners get settled and maintain their homes after purchase. We are available to answer questions that may arise post-purchase.

You may be more eligible than you think!

For example, a family of two with a household combined income of $71,400 or less may be eligible to apply for KAH support. Our financial literacy classes are free to all Kent and Northern Queen Anne’s County residents, regardless of income.
