KAH Welcomes New Board Members

We are pleased to introduce two community advocates who have recently joined the KAH Board of Directors:

Kim Briscoe Moody

Kim Briscoe Moody

Kim Moody officially joined the KAH Board in May 2026 and has been fully engaged with our work since then. Kim is a Howard University graduate and a retired Mortgage Consultant with over 28 years of service to Freddie Mac, a government-sponsored enterprise created by Congress in 1970 to support the U.S. housing market by keeping mortgage funds steady and affordable. Kim now lives in Florida but is a Chestertown native and visits frequently.

Jay Yerkes

Jay Yerkes joined the KAH Board in 2025 to finish out the term of a departing board member, and he is now officially serving a three-year term. Jay and his wife Lisa own Rosin Creek Collaborative, a construction business located in Chestertown that serves the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Annapolis. As a local builder, Jay became immediately indispensable to us during the construction of the Prospect Street duplex project. No stranger in Chestertown, Jay is involved in many community events and organizations in both Kent and Queen Anne’s Counties, and he plays a mean guitar.

We warmly welcome Kim and Jay to our team.
