KAH Awarded OneRural Participation with HAC
Because of our commitment to serving our rural communities, and our interest in strengthening organizational capacity to expand our impact on affordable housing, Kent Attainable Housing was recently selected to participate in the OneRural capacity-building initiative led by the Housing Assistance Council (HAC).
Through OneRural, HAC will work alongside KAH to help us strengthen skills, systems, knowledge, leadership, and organizational effectiveness to better achieve our affordable housing, community development, and organizational goals.
This three-year engagement is funded by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Rural Capacity Building Program and USDA Rural Development’s Rural Community Development Initiative.
OneRural will provide coaching, guidance, technical assistance, training, resources, and connections to expertise to help KAH build capacity and strengthen our readiness for future opportunities to increase our impact for affordable housing in Kent and northern Queen Anne’s counties. We will provide more information as this engagement progresses!
